September’s here, everyone’s back in school, and it’s time to register for the UPWARD indoor soccer league at First United Methodist Church of Allen.

UPWARD is a proven program with 4.5 participants over the past 18 years,  building competitive athletic skills, character, confidence, and spirit. The UPWARD recreational soccer league for boys and girls 4 years old through grade 6 features the 360 Progression™, a unique sports experience that develops the total athlete mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.

FUMC Allen's UPWARD season involves one practice and one game per week led by trained coaches and support staff. The unique sub system ensures that every young athlete plays and that leaders provide age- appropriate character and skill development both on and off the field.

Team practices begin the week of September 22, and games begin Saturday, October 4 though Saturday, November 15. The season ends on Sunday, November 16, with an awards celebration at FUMC Allen. Games are played in the gym at FUMC Allen, 601 S Greenville Ave, Allen TX 75002.

The registration fee includes a quality game day shirt and other sport-related gear. Optional soccer shorts can be purchased for an additional fee.

Every participant must attend one soccer evaluation. Children may come any time as indicated:

• September 9 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. FUMC Allen
• September 11 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. FUMC Allen
